Dear Parents and Guardians,

We would like to inform you of several IMPORTANT changes regarding our upcoming Award Assemblies.

Due to construction beginning earlier than expected for our new Vanguard Van Gogh ECHS campus, the following changes have been made to ensure we remain on schedule with our project timeline:

• Each award assembly will now begin ONE HOUR LATER than the originally scheduled time.
• The venue has changed from our campus library to the Pharr Research and Development Center located at 850 W. Dicker Rd., Pharr, TX 78577.
• Due to limited seating capacity at the new venue, each student will be allowed to bring ONLY TWO guests.
• Students will be transported to and from the venue by school bus. Parents do NOT need to provide transportation for their children and may head directly to the Pharr Research and Development Center for the event.

We understand these are major adjustments, and we sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding during this exciting time for our campus. While these changes may create some inconvenience, we are thrilled that construction on our new school has officially begun ahead of schedule.

Queremos informarles sobre varios cambios IMPORTANTES relacionados con nuestras próximas Asambleas de Premiación.

Debido a que la construcción de nuestro nuevo campus Vanguard Van Gogh ECHS comenzó antes de lo esperado, se han realizado los siguientes cambios para asegurar que continuemos conforme al calendario del proyecto:

• Cada asamblea de premiación comenzará UNA HORA MÁS TARDE de la hora originalmente programada.
• La ubicación ha cambiado de nuestra biblioteca escolar al Pharr Research and Development Center, ubicado en 850 W. Dicker Rd., Pharr, TX 78577.
• Debido a la capacidad limitada del nuevo lugar, cada estudiante podrá traer SOLAMENTE DOS invitados.
• Los estudiantes serán transportados hacia y desde el evento en autobús escolar. Los padres NO necesitan proporcionar transporte para sus hijos y pueden dirigirse directamente al Pharr Research and Development Center para el evento.

Entendemos que estos son cambios importantes y agradecemos sinceramente su paciencia y comprensión durante este emocionante momento para nuestra escuela. Please encourage your child to complete their TSI practice tests on EdSpire. Students must score 80% or higher two times in a row to qualify to retest.
Passing the TSI can help save money in the long run and helps ensure students are college ready.

To help maintain a safe and secure campus, food delivery services (DoorDash, Uber Eats, etc.) are not permitted at school.

Students may not order food deliveries to campus.
Any items delivered by third-party services will not be accepted or allowed to be consumed.
Parents/guardians may bring food directly to their child if needed.
Students may not order or receive food for other students.

These procedures are in place to ensure the safety of all students and staff.
