The Vanguard Academy Charter School Board of Directors is delighted to welcome Dr. Marisol Rocha as the new Superintendent of Schools. With over 20 years of dedicated service to public education, Dr. Rocha has focused her career on school improvement and whole child education. Board President Dr. Luzelma Canales highlighted her extensive experience and dedication as key factors in her selection. Dr. Rocha expressed her excitement about leading Vanguard Academy and building on its established excellence. She has also served in various leadership roles in Edcouch-Elsa ISD, Bastrop ISD, Del Valle ISD, Austin ISD, and Waco ISD.
