The UTRGV Texas Pre-Freshman Engineering Program (TexPREP) is an engaging hands on academically intense, mathematics-based enrichment program. The Program has a component that is presented in a seven-week session over the course of four summers and additional enrichment activities throughout the academic year.

The Primary Goal of TexPREP is to improve access to careers in Mathematics, Sciences, and Engineering. In order to achieve this goal, the program includes: academics, role modeling, mentoring, hands on experience, and career awareness.
