During today's Professional Learning day, our PK teachers participated in a session on recognizing and supporting students with autism in the classroom.
Led by School Psychologist Rachel Perez and Speech-Language Pathologist Yadira Moya, the session provided teachers with practical strategies, early identification tips, and classroom tools to build supportive, inclusive environments for every learner.
This work reflects our continued commitment to equipping teachers with the knowledge and resources to help all students thrive!

Today our little ones honored September 11th Remembrance Day through a meaningful hands-on activity! Our PK4 students painted American flags while developing their fine motor skills and learning important concepts.
✨ What they're learning:
- Fine motor skill development through painting
- Pattern recognition with red, white, and blue stripes
- Color recognition and sequencing
- Remembrance and respect for an important day in our nation's history

In Ms. Kayla Cantu’s 2nd grade classroom, students are building powerful connections between Spanish and English through the Bilingual Bridge. By aligning vocabulary in both languages, students see how meaning transfers and grows across English and Spanish.
This strategy expands vocabulary, strengthens comprehension, and supports their journey to becoming bilingual, biliterate, and bicultural.
