Congratulations to our Wrestling Team! They triumphantly participated in the Wrestling District Meet in Rio Grande City. Alejandro Mireles won District Champion (Mozart ECHS), Abbie Mcvey secured 3rd Place (Rembrandt ECHS), Nevaeh Guajardo earned 4th (Mozart ECHS), all three qualified for Regional. Ivan Mireles will serve as Alternate. We are proud of all participating students.

Mozart Elementary is excited about Mrs. Cavazos' 3rd grade class. They have officially PUBLISHED their class project! They are thrilled to announce their partnership with Sgt. Fernando De La Rosa Memorial Library in Alamo for World Read Aloud Day. Mrs. Cavazos' class will be launching their book to the community as well as to parents and supporters. They would like to invite our Vanguard community to their special Book Launch Event at Sgt. Fernando De La Rosa Memorial Library on February 5, 2025, starting at 5:00 pm. Mrs. Cavazos hopes to give her newly published authors the recognition they deserve for this huge accomplishment. It will be a great opportunity to shine the light on Mozart Elementary students!
