🎉 Congratulations to our exceptional HOSA officers from Van Gogh and Rembrandt Secondary for their outstanding participation in the Fall Leadership Conference at McAllen High School! 🌟 We were honored to hear from our keynote speaker, the esteemed Debra Denise Franco, founder of the South Texas Juvenile Diabetes Association. She shared her heartfelt and inspiring journey that motivates her altruistic efforts. Our students engaged in a variety of leadership sessions and had the opportunity to network with peers from schools across HOSA Area 7, spanning from Laredo to Corpus Christi. Three of our junior students from Mozart Early College High School have made history as the first dual credit students to serve as officers in STC’s Student Government Association! 👏
We are beyond proud of their leadership, passion, and dedication to representing their peers across the region who are taking advantage of STC Dual Credit programs. 🎓
They’re not just high school juniors — they’re college students too! 💪📚

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Bianca Hayes (STHS), Cassandra Bravo (DHR), and the Pharr Police Department for their collaboration in providing our Vanguard Academy Health Science students with crucial life-saving training. Thanks to their efforts, our students earned their Stop the Bleed Certification. The event was a resounding success, and the students thoroughly enjoyed learning these essential life skills!
