Dr. Narciso Garcia, Superintendent of Vanguard Academy Charter School, along with Principal, Maria Farias and teachers and staff of Vanguard Rembrandt Secondary visited the top two graduating seniors on Monday, May 11, 2020. They surprised the Valedictorian, Jabes Gallardo and Salutatorian, Adrian Rodriguez-DiBella with a parade, plaque, gift basket and balloons.

Jabes, your hard work and dedication have brought you to this moment in time, when it might have seemed like it was taking forever now seems but just a glimpse in time. Embrace it, enjoy it and make of it the most memorable time of your high school journey. You will now embark in a whole new expedition and we are sure that you will accomplish all your goals. Your eagerness to excel, your curiosity to explore, your meticulous self will shine everywhere you go. Never forget that you have a family in Vanguard Academy to support you, never forget your roots. Go out there and make wise decisions, enjoy every moment, cherish your goals and speak your mind. Don’t ever hold back and always keep moving forward. We will always hold you dearly to our hearts. Adrian, your spark, your joy, your sensibility has opened many doors of opportunity and ahead of you lies just but another. Walk through it with your head held up, with honor and glee, for a new adventure awaits and we are more than convinced that you will grasp it and conquer it tremendously.
