Vanguard Academy House Bill 3 2019-2024 Board Goals 

 

 

LITERACY District Board Goal
The percent of 3rd-grade students that score meets grade-level or above on the end of year STAAR reading will increase from 50% in August 2019 to 65% in August 2024. 
Beethoven Elementary
The percent of 3rd-grade students that score meets grade-level or above on the end of year STAAR reading will increase from 58% in August 2019 to 76% by August 2024. 
Mozart Elementary
The percent of 3rd-grade students that score meets grade-level or above on the end of year STAAR reading will increase from 41% in August 2019 to 57% by August 2024
Picasso Elementary
The percent of 3rd-grade students that score meets grade-level or above on the end of year STAAR reading will increase from 38% in August 2019 to 56% by August 2024.

Rembrandt Elementary

The percent of 3rd-grade students that score meets grade-level or above on the end of year STAAR reading will increase from 50% in August 2019 to 68% by August 2024.

Early Childhood Literacy DISTRICT Progress Measure 1 PREK

The percent of PreK students at the end of the year that make adequate progress (MAP) for reading on CIRCLE will increase from 58% by end of year 2019-20 to 73% by end of year 2023-2024.

 

Early Childhood Literacy Beethoven Progress Measure 1 PREK

The percent of PreK students at the end of the year that make adequate progress (MAP) for reading on CIRCLE will increase from 60% by end of year 2019-20 to 80% by end of year 2023-2024.

Early Childhood Literacy Mozart Progress Measure 1 PREK

The percent of PreK students at the end of the year that make adequate progress (MAP) for reading on CIRCLE will increase from 55% by end of year 2019-20 to 67% by end of year 2023-2024.

MATH District Board Goal
The percent of 3rd-grade students that score meets grade-level or above on the end of year STAAR Math will increase from 53% in August 2019 to 67% by August 2024.
Beethoven Elementary
The percent of 3rd-grade students that score meets grade-level or above on the end of year STAAR Math will increase from 60% in August 2019 to 74% by August 2024.
Mozart Elementary
The percent of 3rd-grade students that score meets grade-level or above on the end of year STAAR Math will increase from 45% in August 2019 to 52% by August 2024.
Picasso Elementary
The percent of 3rd-grade students that score meets grade-level or above on the end of year STAAR Math will increase from 51% in August 2019 to 63% by August 2024.

The percentage of high school graduates that meet the criteria for College Ready in the Texas A-F Accountability System will increase from 89% in the graduating class of 2019 to 92% in the graduating class of 2023 by August 2024.

By the start of Fall semester (senior year), the percentage of incoming seniors that will have earned an approved industry-based certification will increase from 40% of seniors in 2018-2019 to 65% of seniors in 2022-2023 by August 2024.

The percentage of high school graduates that earn 3 college credit hours in ELAR/ Mathematics or 9 college credit hours or more in any subject will increase from 73 % of seniors in 2018-19 to 80 % of seniors in 2022-23 by August 2024.

The percentage of high school graduates that meet the criteria for College Ready in the Texas A-F Accountability System will increase from 89% in the graduating class of 2019 to 92% in the graduating class of 2023 by August 2024.
