The Board meets on a regular basis at Beethoven Early College High School Lecture Hall, 2215 S. Veterans Blvd, Edinburg, TX 78539.  Special meetings may be called and held when and where necessary.   In compliance with Texas Open meeting laws, a written notice of a regular and special meetings will be posted on Vanguard Academy's website and at a public accessible location at the Central Administration office located at 2510 S. Veterans Blvd, Edinburg, TX 78539 at least 72 hours before scheduled meeting time.     In emergencies, a meeting may be held with a two-hour notice in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

All meetings are open to the public.  In certain circumstances, Texas law permits the board to go into closed session from which the public and others are excluded.   Closed session may occur for such things as discussing prospective gifts, donations, real-property acquisition, certain personnel matters including employee complaints, security matters, student discipline, or consulting with attorneys regarding pending litigation.
