Congratulations teachers designated by TIA!!

Vanguard Academy celebrates TEA's teacher incentive allotment designated teachers! Way to go Vanguard Academy teachers!

Twenty-four Vanguard Academy teachers have been designated as recipients of the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) by the Texas Education Agency (TEA). "We are extremely proud of all of our teachers," Dr. Narciso Garcia, Vanguard Academy Superintendent, said. "This is a great testament to the quality of teachers we have at Vanguard Academy. Congratulations to all of the TIA designees."
A big thank you to Senator Eddie Lucio joining Vanguard Academy today and celebrating our teachers!

HB 3 established the TIA to recognize effective teachers on three levels of designation: Recognized, Exemplary, and Master. These teacher designations generate additional teacher-focused allotment funding for districts to reward their top teacher performers. Vanguard Academy has twenty teachers designated as Recognized and four teachers designated as Exemplary. Allotments for each level of designation area range from: Recognized: $3,000K-$9,000K; Exemplary: $6,000K-$18,000K; Master: $12,000-$32,000K.
