The true highlight of this week's Curriculum Circus wasn't just the work that was accomplished, it was the relationships that were built. 🤝✨ By learning from one another, celebrating different perspectives, and working toward a common goal, our teachers demonstrated the power of teamwork in education. When educators unite around a shared vision, amazing things happen for students. We can't wait to see the impact of this collaboration in classrooms across the district! 💪🍎📚
More than 60 teachers from across the district came together to learn, collaborate, and create this week, all with student success at the center of the work. Throughout the week, teachers deepened their understanding of instructional initiatives at Vanguard Academy. Teams rolled up their sleeves to design student-facing materials that support strong instruction, increase cognitive engagement, and make learning meaningful and fun. 🎨🧠✨ Summer may be a break from school, but our teachers are still hard at work building the tools, strategies, and connections that will make next year even stronger. 💪🍎

Vanguard Academy Mozart P-TECH proudly recognizes Marianeli Ballesa, Victoria Lopez, Justin Ibañez, and Brheanna Reyes for representing our campus and the State of Texas at the 2026 HOSA International Leadership Conference (ILC) in Indianapolis, Indiana.
These outstanding students earned the opportunity to compete among the nation's and world's top future healthcare professionals. The HOSA International Leadership Conference brings together approximately 12,900 competitors and more than 14,000 attendees from 54 chartered associations, making it one of the largest gatherings of future health professionals in the world.

✨ Our District Dance Intensive Camp was a tremendous success!
Over four days, dancers learned new routines, strengthened their technique, and built confidence in preparation for the upcoming school year. Participants included the Tiaras and Sapphires from Van Gogh Secondary, the Spartanettes and Junior Spartanettes from Rembrandt Secondary, and a dancer representing Beethoven Secondary.
The week concluded with a special parent showcase where students proudly performed what they had learned. Their dedication, growth, and enthusiasm were evident every step of the way, making this an unforgettable experience for all involved.
Thank you to our directors, families, and district leadership for supporting opportunities that allow our students to shine! 💃🌟

Durante cuatro días, las bailarinas aprendieron nuevas rutinas, fortalecieron su técnica y desarrollaron su confianza para prepararse para el próximo ciclo escolar. Entre las participantes estuvieron las Tiaras y Sapphires de Van Gogh Secondary, las Spartanettes y Junior Spartanettes de Rembrandt Secondary, así como una estudiante representante de Beethoven Secondary.

Due to flooding and inclement weather forecasted for our area, all summer school classes and programs have been canceled for tomorrow, Tuesday, June 16, 2026.
Staff will follow a delayed start schedule and will report to work at 10:00 a.m.
We will continue to monitor weather conditions and provide updates through the Vanguard App, social media, and the district website as needed.
We pray that you and your families remain safe during this weather.
