CTE: Building Skills. Strengthening Communities. 🤝
Our CTE students have been actively giving back to the community ❤️ through a variety of meaningful service projects. Throughout the year, students participated in Christmas caroling 🎶 at local nursing homes 🏡, visited residents to provide manicures 💅, supported families at the H-E-B Feast of Sharing 🥘, organized toy drives 🧸, assisted with a beach cleanup 🌊, and volunteered at the Laurie Andrews PAW Center 🐾. These experiences reflect our students’ and teachers’ commitment to service, compassion, and community engagement 🌱 beyond the classroom.
On the 5th Day of Achievement… 🌟
Vanguard Academy proudly celebrates a historic milestone 🏆 as Aaron Miranda, a 12th-grade student at Rembrandt P-TECH 🎓, became the first student-athlete in Rembrandt’s Cross Country program history—and in Vanguard Academy Athletics—to place in the Top 10 🔟 at the UIL 3A State Cross Country Championship 🏃♂️🏞️, earning an outstanding 10th-place finish 🥇👏. This achievement reflects the dedication, perseverance, and excellence 💪⭐ of our student-athletes and athletic programs.

Noah, a sophomore double bassist, earned 🥇 1st Chair in Area and was ranked 12th in the state auditions, securing a prestigious spot in the All-State Symphony Orchestra 🎻—the TOP ensemble in Texas! ⭐
In February, Noah will perform at the TMEA Convention 🎶 alongside the best musicians from Dallas, Houston, Austin, and across the state, under the direction of world-renowned conductor, Maestro Larry Livingston. 🌎✨

🎉 On the 12th Day of Achievement, we are proud to recognize our Picasso Elementary ACE Greenpower students for their incredible winning streak! During the Yellow Jacket Grand Prix Meet, our students earned:

🥇 1st Place – Slalom Race
These victories led them to bring home 1st Place Overall! 🏆
