At this month’s Board Meeting, we had the pleasure of hosting one of our bright and talented students!

Meet Gianna, a standout 4th grader at Mozart Elementary known for her kindness, leadership, and strong work ethic.
She brings grace and teamwork to the dance team and proudly serves on student council, helping represent her classmates and support school events.

Gianna also excels in UIL Spelling and Creative Writing, and as a dedicated Girl Scout, she continues to grow through service and integrity.

Creative, determined, and always ready to help, Gianna dreams of becoming a nurse so she can make a difference in people’s lives. 🩺

We’re proud to highlight Gianna and all the positivity she brings to Vanguard Academy!

🎉 Congratulations to our exceptional HOSA officers from Van Gogh and Rembrandt Secondary for their outstanding participation in the Fall Leadership Conference at McAllen High School! 🌟 We were honored to hear from our keynote speaker, the esteemed Debra Denise Franco, founder of the South Texas Juvenile Diabetes Association. She shared her heartfelt and inspiring journey that motivates her altruistic efforts. Our students engaged in a variety of leadership sessions and had the opportunity to network with peers from schools across HOSA Area 7, spanning from Laredo to Corpus Christi. Thank you all for your dedication and participation! 👏

Three of our junior students from Mozart Early College High School have made history as the first dual credit students to serve as officers in STC’s Student Government Association! 👏
We are beyond proud of their leadership, passion, and dedication to representing their peers across the region who are taking advantage of STC Dual Credit programs. 🎓
They’re not just high school juniors — they’re college students too! 💪📚

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Bianca Hayes (STHS), Cassandra Bravo (DHR), and the Pharr Police Department for their collaboration in providing our Vanguard Academy Health Science students with crucial life-saving training. Thanks to their efforts, our students earned their Stop the Bleed Certification. The event was a resounding success, and the students thoroughly enjoyed learning these essential life skills!
